To submit the Student Confirmation List for the Initial Nurse Assistant Certification is easier and quicker than ever...
The regulations require that the nursing assistant take an initial training course. Once the course
is completed, the initial nursing assistant certification application will be completed online. In
addition, the RN instructor who taught the course will log in to this Online Information Submittal System, provide
the students first name, middle name, last name, date of birth and social security number as well as the end date of the
class and the class location. Only the Board approved training courses will be available for selection. If
the RN instructor has the required information in an Excel spreadsheet based on the Board approved template (download
the Spreadsheet Template),
the student confirmation list can be uploaded to the online system and submitted in that manner. The system requires the instructors,
who are approved to teach the training courses, to provide their last name, license number and social security number to log
into this system.
Please Note: The Board will no longer accept the student confirmation list submitted on paper. If you need any assistance for how
to submit the student confirmation list online, please contact the Maryland Board of Nursing help desk at (410) 585-1948
from 8 AM to 5 PM eastern standard time, or by e-mail at at inaccls@mdbon.org.
Please Note: A valid e-mail Address is required. The transaction information will
be sent to the e-mail address provided. If you do not have an e-mail, you can always
open an e-mail account at any publicly available e-mail service. Most of these services
are free to the general public. Additionally you are required to provide your nursing
license number, last name and social security number (SSN). After logging into the system,
your information will be presented for verification. Please review the information and
make the necessary changes. You must click the "Next" or "Continue"
button for the changes to take effect.
