The Maryland Board of Nursing now offers the online Medication Assistant
Renewal System. Now, Medication Assistant Renewal services are available
anywhere you can log in and connect to this Web site.
Be aware as a Medication Technician you must complete your required Medication Technician Clinical
update NO MORE than 90 days prior to the expiration date of your Medication Technician certificate
and within the 30 day grace period following expiration date of your Medication Technician
certificate. The RN approved to teach the CMT Clinical update must submit evidence of your completing
the required clinical update. This must be done online. You the CMT must submit
your paper renewal form to the Board. The Board will match the RNís online verification
of your clinical update to the paper renewal form that you have submitted.
Please Note: A valid e-mail Address is required. The transaction information will
be sent to the e-mail address provided. If you do not have an e-mail, you can always
open an e-mail account at any publicly available e-mail service. Most of these services
are free to the general public. Additionally you are required to provide your nursing
license number, last name and social security number (SSN). After logging into the system,
your information will be presented for verification. Please review the information and
make the necessary changes. You must click the "Next" or "Continue"
